I'd like to purchase LG air conditioner but I have some questions ...

Hello, I'd like to purchase LG air conditioner, but I have some questions concerning my dilemma between two models: SO7LHP or SO9LHP. In different sales outlets different models are advised. The room characteristics are the following: 21,2 m2, ceiling height is 2,6m, there can be 1-3 people in the room at the same time; equipment- PDP 42 and theatre "in one box", there is also a computer in the room. I am more inclined to buying SO9LHP, but I worry whether there may be some problems, because of its appropriation for huge spaces, there may be cold etc.? Thanks for your answer beforehand.

Answer: Every air conditioner has a thermostat which defines its operating mode. The compressor goes off as it reaches the temperature, set by thermostat, and when the temperature in the room rises at 1 degree the compressor goes on again. The number of such cycles should not exceed 4-5 per hour. That is the optimum operating mode of the system, which corresponds to its appropriation. If the productivity of the air conditioner is not enough, it may operate continuously, what will adversely affect the durability. And if the efficiency is higher, than it is required for a certain room, the compressor will go off too often, and that also will adversely affect the durability of the air conditioner. The minimum recommended period of compressor operation is about 5min. Count all the heat supplies in your room (from equipment and people) and take into consideration the average productivity required for your space: it is about 1 kW of cold for 10 m2.
